My fees are structured around 60 minutes of work. This 60-minute session includes 45 to 50 minutes of interviewing and 10-15 minutes of notetaking/administrative follow-up. The cost is $210.00. There are times when I, during a session, could determine whether a 30-minute session applies to the current or the next one. But I won’t be able to be arranged in advance. The fee will then change accordingly. I do not consult for less than 30 minutes.

Some information that applies to the above fees is important to know:

If you are entitled to Medicare (Australian patients), you can ask your GP to refer you with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). This MHCP can be for either six or ten sessions and allows you a rebate of $141.00

If you qualify for TAC or NDIS, your case manager can arrange consultations with your doctor’s support. The case manager must arrange this before the first session. I am registered at both organisations.

Two items are very important:

An additional fee will be charged if your consultation includes requests for writing letters, memoranda, or reports. This must be discussed during the first session.

A separate fee structure applies to forensic and criminal justice work. Discussing this before or at the first session (at the latest) is essential. Alternatively, your solicitor can contact me to discuss it.
